Our singular goal is to provide adaptive bikes to children and young adults with special needs such as Spina Bifida, Cerebral Palsy, Battens Disease, Charge Syndrome, Down Syndrome, Hydrocephalus, Autism, etc. All the Challenges these families face like the cost of therapy sessions, equipment costs, and lack of strength, confidence, and inclusion have prevented them from the common activity of riding bikes together.

“We will do whatever, whenever, however, to get him what he needs. He’s a huge motivator for us” -Susan Carville, proud grandmother of past bike recipient

What started in 2008 as a “Bikes for Christmas” project quickly turned into a yearround endeavor. Over 365 bikes have been delivered since 2008, and it’s proven to Change the lives of the children and their families. Change is possible because of the individual donors and corporations who have so graciously donated to the foundation..

“The fact that he can use something and be independent with it usually carries over to trying things that are a little harder and then it also helps build up that strength” -Ashley Kenda, physical therapist/donor

The saying remains true. These bikes change lives.  These children are defying odds, changing their paths, and setting their lives in motion once they start riding the adaptive bikes. Not only is the child’s life changed, but the families, friends, and donors are touched by the stories we share, thus sparking a Revolution.

“This is a very selfless family running a transparent charity. I have cried more tears of joy watching their delivery day videos. I know exactly where my contributions are going and I know they help make a difference in a child's life. In a family's life.” -Karen Dunn (taken from Facebook review)
