**McLindon Family Foundation Receives $76,900 Grant to Expand Program**

[Baton Rouge, LA] – The McLindon Family Foundation is pleased to announce the receipt of a generous grant totaling $76,900 from the Foxwynd Foundation DAF funded by the Foxwynd Foundation aimed at supporting the foundation's Exceptional Trikes Program. This initiative is designed to provide adaptive bicycles to children with special needs, fostering inclusivity and promoting physical activity. The Exceptional Trikes Program has been in development over the past several months, with a clear objective: to equip more children with special needs in Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, and Louisiana with adaptive bikes. Thanks to the collaborative efforts between the McLindon Family Foundation, Rifton Equipment, and the Foxwynd Foundation, we are thrilled to announce the purchase and distribution of 40 adaptive bikes through this funding. “It's imperative for children with special needs to have equitable access to physical activity, yet the high cost of adaptive bikes often presents a significant barrier,” said [Allison Oubre, Executive Director for MFF]. “This grant is a vital step forward in our ongoing mission to provide these essential resources, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive.” Since its inception in 2008, the McLindon Family Foundation has been dedicated to enhancing the lives of children with special needs by improving their access to adaptive bikes. The support from the Foxwynd Foundation not only amplifies this mission but also reaffirms the commitment to inclusivity and empowerment for all children.

“The Bentley family believes in the power of inclusivity and the importance of access to resources for all children. By supporting the Exceptional Trikes Program, we are committed to helping transform lives and creating a more equitable future for children with special needs.” — Pamela Villagra, Executive Director of Foxwynd Foundation.
